Hytale features 17 crafting stations across multiple tiers. This guide covers every bench, forge, loom, and table, including what recipes each one unlocks and how to upgrade them for better items.

Crafting is at the heart of Hytale's progression system. From your first wooden tools to legendary enchanted weapons, everything runs through crafting stations. Understanding which station makes what, and how to upgrade them, will save you time and keep your gear on par with the challenges ahead. Crafting Progression Overview Hytale's crafting follows a tier system. Early stations use basic materials and produce simple items. As you upgrade or unlock new stations, you gain access to better recipes with stronger results. Basic Tier (start of game): Hand crafting, Campfire, Basic Workbench Intermediate Tier (after first dungeon): Forge, Anvil, Loom, Alchemy Table Advanced Tier (mid-game): Upgraded versions of all stations Expert Tier (late-game): Specialized stations for magical and rare items All Crafting Stations Basic Workbench The first station you'll build. Requires only wood planks. Unlocks basic tool and furniture recipes. Makes: Wooden tools, basic furniture, torches, chests, doors Materials to build: 8 Wood Planks Campfire A simple cooking station. Place raw food on it to cook. Does not require a crafting interface. Makes: Cooked meats, roasted vegetables, basic food items Materials to build: 4 Sticks, 2 Coal or Charcoal Furnace Smelts raw ores into ingots and fires clay into bricks. Essential for metal progression. Makes: Copper Ingots, Iron Ingots, Gold Ingots, Bricks, Glass Materials to build: 12 Cobblestone, 4 Coal Fuel: Coal, Charcoal, or Wood Forge An upgraded furnace for smelting higher-tier ores. Required for Thorium and above. Makes: Dyes (all colors), dyed armor, colored banners, painted blocks Materials to build: 6 Wood Planks, 4 Glass, assorted flowers Runic Forge The most advanced crafting station, combining metalwork with magical rune inscriptions for the strongest gear in the game.
